Justin S. Field M.D. began his studies at Vanderbilt University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a major in Philosophy and minor in Chemistry.  He went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University.  Later he earned a Medical Degree at Tulane University, where he finished in the top 1% of his medical school class and was elected president of AOA Honor Society.  Dr. Field completed both his surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Duke University.  He completed a spine surgery fellowship at The Spine Institute in Santa Monica(CA) under the direction of internationally renowned Dr. Rick Delamarter.

As an orthopedic spine surgeon. Dr. Field treats the full spectrum of degenerative and traumatic spinal conditions in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. He has specialized training in minimally invasive spine surgery and motion sparing technologies, such as cervical and lumbar Artificial Disc Replacement, as well as non-fusion stabilization.  In addition, he has extensive training in adult deformity correction and treatment.  Dr Field is a compassionate doctor who aims to help patients lead dynamic and productive lives.  He has a comprehensive approach in treating degenerative deformities and conditions and is committed to innovative nonsurgical and surgical lifelong care.
