I am into 5 weeks post op. I was unable to sit at all with low back pain, hip pain, tail bone pain and even into my both legs. He (Dr. Yeung) repaired an annular tear at the L5 and I am able to sit and eat with my family again. I hurt my back on the job and had to deal with quacks telling me to pull over every 10 minutes on my commute to work, The only doctor that was compassionate to what I was going through was my family physician, but that is not good enough for workers comp, so they cut me off. I was forced to get a lawyer, and thank God he knew of Dr. Yeung. I thank the Lord every day for leading me to this wonderful doctor. Since I was messed up for so long, I guess I am not healing as quickly as most, but it is still nothing compared to what it was before surgery. I have only been to therapy twice, and I am still not able to drive much without intense pain, and I still have to take pain meds. I know with time I will get my life back and finally get back to work. Unfortunately, they fired me since I have been gone for so long. But just the thought alone of knowing the problem is finally fixed is so reasurring. |
