I was able to go back to work a week after the surgery and also got back to snow skiing in January 1997. Since then I have been working out routinely and participating in two relatively extreme sports, mountain biking and snow skiing. This is what I work so hard to do and they are the 'loves' of my life. With a bad back it would be impossible to participate in these sports. Thanks to you and the new techniques you used I have been able to pursue both of these sports very aggressively. Some days I feel as though I am in my 20's again! I have even become a competitive rider again and recently won a mountain bike race at Estrella Mountain Park in may age and skill level. I have also been able to maintain my career in the landscape industry which at least two neurosurgeons told me I would have to give up. I explained to them that life was just not that easy and that other solutions must exist. They were none to happy to learn that I was considering your procedure. I guess they were just not progressive enough to learn what it is that you do and to believe in the results. Their loss. Well, they can eat crow. The procedure was successful and I am doing quite well. Over the years I have recommended numerous people with back problems to seek your advice and will continue to refer anyone that will listen. Keep up the great work in this field. There are so many people with back pain that do not know it is something that can be minimized or corrected allowing for a revived lifestyle.
