Dr. Nima Salari is first spine surgeon to implant new hyperlordotic dualX interbody cage

Dr. Nima Salari, MD, FAAOS, from Scottsdale AZ, became the first spine surgeon to implant the new hyperlordotic dualX interbody cage, a TLIF spacer that provides additional lordosis. The minimally invasive procedure was recently performed at Honor Shea Health, one of Arizona’s leading hospitals and healthcare networks.

“Offering my patients the benefit of smaller incisions and less exposure to potential complications is why I specialize in minimally invasive surgery,” said Dr. Nima Salari. “For this TLIF procedure, I needed to fuse L5/S1 posteriorly due to anterior vascular anomalies.
